Spalted Maple Carving Board
This one of a kind carving board is made from live edge spalted maple wood and is highly figured with amazing curls and feathering. It measures approximately 22 inches long x 11 inches wide x 1 inch thick. It features two metal handles for easy carrying, and is suitable for chopping meat, fruits and vegetables, breads, and whatever other table fare you can think of.
The board is sealed with a combination of food-grade mineral oil and organic beeswax to protect it from moisture and bring out its beautiful, deep tones. No dyes or stains were used. Occasional maintenance with cutting board or butcher block conditioners (oils, wax, etc.) are recommended. Our own blend of food-safe oil and wax will be included with purchase of the board. Directions for care and washing will also be included.
